Research activities of the Technology Enhanced Learning Laboratory (TELL) focus on advanced technologies emerging for educational uses and on the evaluation of their effectiveness. The main aim of the researchers is to advance the state-of-the-art and practical use of computation and communication technologies for learning and teaching defining and validating new methods and techniques for the design and implementation of innovative learning environments. The main research topics are: Adaptive Learning Systems, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Recommender systems for e-learning, Collaborative and Social Learning, Ubiquitous Learning; Multi-agent systems, Smart Learning Environments; Serious games for education, Distance Learning for culture and arts.
